books I've read this summer, and minimalist reviews

in between all that "hardcore" studying ...

Summer by Edith Wharton
--depressing

The Man of My Dreams by Curtis Sittenfeld
--fluffy

a bunch of Gossip Girl
--horribly addicting (ps I can't wait for the tv series! Sept. 19! ohmygosh!)

Prince of the Marshes by Rory Stewart
--inspired lots and lots of nonfictional love <3 ... I mean, not like Iraq isn't interesting in and of itself ... yeah ...

The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath
--I'm not suicidal, I promise, I just wanted to see what the fuss was about

The End of the Affair by Graham Greene
--not finished yet, but so far, I love
was a $1 impusive tag sale buy after I remembered I'd always wanted to read him... definitely worth it
